snoweeThe BIG family Thanksgiving dinner was tonight. Well, I actually caught the cold from Toria so I wasn't feeling great. Not enough to complain, but enough to know I need sleep or it's going to get so much worse. Toria finally started feeling better late this afternoon so Hubby took her with him to my parents house for the big dinner.
You know the kids I mentioned couldn't go to her house on Thursday because of allergies? They were there tonight. Yeah.
But here's the story he told me upon arriving home. Apparently Toria got herself in some big trouble (stabbed her 17 month old cousin with a fork {cough}). Hubby gave her a time out. "Mother of the Year" W decides she knows what's best and goes in after a minute of Toria's time out to comfort her! Excuse me!? This is my kid. She was being punished! Getting cuddled isn't a fucking punishment and by doing that, she'd undoing what we're trying to teach her! It's like coddling a temper tantrum - it just makes the kid throw more of them!
Anyway, we know Kami's the smart one. She chose to give Toria to us, not W. {grin - kisses Kami on the cheek)
btw, Jodie, correct me if I'm wrong in current music? I'm trying to remember the title off the top of my head and I was never really clear on the name of band or hubby or how it should be credited...
