snoweeI didn't get around to mentioning that last week there was a problem with the stereo install. Apparently they use the old knobs in the new installation kit and because those were gone, we had to buy new from the dealer. I knew when I heard that it would be bad. $25 each and we needed 3, plus 2 $18 clip things. Well, after much calling and such, we found a guy who does custom installs for the dealerships. He not only had some refurbished knobs for less, he also said he could come to our house to install it. So, we finally got it installed today.
Scott got a huge tuition reimbursement... so he is using it to by himself a PSP and he bought me a really nice iPod mini for my b-day! I didn't know I would love it this much. It's so handy! He bought an adapter so I can charge it in the car cigarette lighter and it also plays through the FM stereo so I can just plug it in and have my entire collection of music right there. SWEET! It has been very cool. I'm addicted to it already.
Also got some great CDs and a book for my birthday. Sister bought me a bellydance video. She and I took bellydancing together years ago so when she saw that series of bd-ing for fitness, she bought the first and now I have the second so we can share.
All this extra babysitting, stuff for the car, etc... feels very busy... not fun, just busywork...
Oh, but I have been writing a bit of fluff for the last few weeks. Not getting too much done at a time, but it's coming along... eventually. wheee! i feel better.
