snoweeSee, now how can I stay mad, annoyed, and whatnot in relation to thing with spouse when he says stuff you only read in romance novels? (or that you imagine would be said in one if you ever read them. Okay, so my sister let me read her smut when I was a young teen and I felt all funny in my bits and tits, but that's a whole other story....) <---lol, jk! Scared ya, didn't I?
Anyway, last night he said this whole speech about how he realizes he's not been very appreciative of me, but he wanted me to know that he couldn't do what he does - at work or go to school - if he didn't have me being so supportive and that he plans to change things.
I was speechless! It came so unsolicited and out of the blue... I just said "thanks" in a meek voice because... well, what do you say? you know inside that you love him even if you're sick of him and you have a kid that you quite enjoy raising with him... anyway, I'm going to attempt to clean the slate a bit and give him a fresh chance... try not to be too hopeful or I'll just end up disappointed.
and I will attempt to save the drama for my mama instead of my journal...
