Since I mentioned my personal NIN disc, I thought I'd take a moment to list what's on there. This is one of my favourite mixes, all copied from discs I own. All are by Nine Inch Nails. I won't say Trent Reznor is a god, but he sure knows how to write a good tune.

I know NIN (more specifically Trent Reznor) gets thrown together with Marilyn Manson a lot. I won't go into my feelings about Mr. Manson, but I will say that Trent is the true artist, the true lyricist, the true musician. (I offer this webpage as proof of his poetic words). Mr. Manson just has an image. Oops, I guess I will go into it a little.

As an aside, several years ago there was a HUGE deal made about Marilyn Manson not being allowed to open for NIN in Utah. He showed up anyway and the two of them went wild, resulting in a reprimand from the governor who asked them not to return. I'll not go into my opinion on that bitch, but NIN has been greatly missed. (That was a beautiful concert. ) Shortly after, They toured with Bowie. I would have killed to see that show... :(
