1) I made a new icon
2) Everyone in the house has been sick with this aweful (vomit accompanying) flu. Nasty. Toria's had it twice, poor child.
3) Last week I babysat another 2 year old. Good playmate for Toria. Hard to babysit. He is Mexican and speaks only Spanish. Yes, 'no' translates, but he doesn't understand what part of what he's doing is the 'no'. It was a fun challenge and may arise on rare occasion again. Suppose I should have taken Spanish instead of German in HS...
4) My zip disc is corrupted!!!!!!!!!! The one with ALL my writing. ALL of it. The notes i've been making for the last 12 years. Everything is fucking GONE! Including my book! Yeah, actually now I'm finally calm about it, but that's because I did find that the backup of my book wasn't quite as outdated as I thought. I have a thousand 3.5" discs with all the various notes on them, but now I ahve to go through them all again and recreate - plus I spent yesterday writing out this idea for a long series of fics I was getting all gung-ho about which I hadn't backed up yet. {sob} I know, I know. I do not deserve sympathy because I am the queen of "If you don't back up, you deserve whatever happens" I am not allowing myself to be upset anymore. It just {sigh} sucks.
5) My marriage is not in a good place and, quite honestly, we need therapy - but can't afford it. Found out today that the damned insurance doesn't cover family/marriage/couples therapy. WTF!? Figures.
6) Realized yesterday that I had been keeping track of how far I was in my book in this journal, then forgot - so note to self: 248 pages total.
