Things that can make me feel stupid

...aside from the blade incident because, duh, sharp object; I should know better!

For the last 3 days... 3 DAYS... I have been trying to figure out how I want this one section of my story to go. I'm stuck, I'm stuck, I'm looking at it from every angle. Write, rewrite, try again. This is the process, right? 3 days on a stupid little tiny detail that is... important but not crucial.

So I'm sitting here today and it suddenly occurs to me - it doesn't belong in this scene! God, how stupid. LOL. It's funny to me, really, that I can think I have thought of every angle and then realize DUH! it's the most obvious blatant thing of all. That conversation goes later, okay? {snicker}

Meanwhile, watched The Rules of Attraction. It's a lot more to the mood of Bret Easton Ellis book than American Psycho and it's got some beautiful cinematography. I regret not reading the book first, but good movie anyway. (IMO)
