Ok, so in the late afternoon I finally started to feel better. YAY. My sister came over to babysit, then hubby got home bearing 2 bouquets of flowers. One for me with Calla Lilies, my favourite flower I can't believe he found! and one for my sister to thank her for babysitting. (awr)
He took me first to this Greek restaurant that we've been meaning to try for ages. It's in a strip mall and, well, Greek food isn't all that popular, right? So it was easy to find a quiet table in the corner and talk while we ate.
Critique: It was nice and tasted ok, but I still love Yanni's more. The sauce on the gyros are spicier and the rice pilaf at Yanni's just has better flavour. Moving on.
After dinner he took me to see DareDevil.
Critique: I won't give away details, but I quite enjoyed it. It's a tad The Crow or Batman Returns (dark comic feel) brought into the Spiderman movie making age.
So, overall, I had a good time! So glad we got to do something this year and all.
Anyway, after we got home, we chatted with sister for a bit, then I got on to turn off the computer and couldn't resist the temptation to check email. Shouldn't have because I ended up staying up too late, but the good news is that the little one slept in. Yipee.
Edit: Meant to comment about how crappy I spell when I'm ill. Ok, that's just an excuse, but reading over last post, it was a bit disgraceful. {chuckle}
Now I've read friends' posts, I almost feel guilty for having a good Valentines. Almost. It now occurs to me that one really can't tell whether "private" as a security level works because as long as I'm signed in, I can see my post, but supposedly no one else can.
I certainly hope that's true.
