snoweeWell, Scott went through it, then Toria. Both got better from the colds and BAM! Just when I thought I was safe, I finally got it. Fortunately it hit me last weekend right before she went back to school after Winter Break so I was able to rest up and it hasn't lingered. Still a bit off today, but I can feel my brain fighting through the muck again...
What else to say? I applied for a few jobs, one person sounded like I have a chance... but there are a lot of people in line. I meet the minimum requirements, though, except for my 10 key which I've been working to improve. It was kind of nice to have one job where there IS a minimum requirement (that is not the kind of minimum most people have like High School Diploma or GED.) Don't know. Cross your fingers for me.
Life is dull. That is why no new posts recently.
OH WAIT! Except I could give you guys a laugh! A few weeks ago we were at a bar with friends. This older, balding gent started hitting on my niece. He was rather ... how to say nicely? Swarthy... not in a good way. Almost slimy. Well, we finally distracted him and hubby says "Hey, J-. If you play your cards right, you'll get laid tonight!" EW! EW EW! EEEWEW!
Well, that wasn't the end. A little later another friend arrived and he returned. Now HERE'S a line for you. {pointing to friend who has just arrived} "This girl gave me chlamydia 10 days ago, but I've had my round of antibiotics and I'm ready to hit that again."
EW.
I can't make this stuff up!!
