I think phoniks are stupid too...
Jun. 4th, 2007 12:58 pmThat's it. I've said it for years, but this time I mean it! I'm done with the letter "c". It is entirely useless in the English language. Okay, so khurkh looks kind of funny, but we kan get used to it! All that letter does is sit around impersonating S and K willy nilly. What's the idea? To konfuse our khildren even more when they are learning to read? I've only just resently realized (and just now I realized we'll have to change the word resent to rezent, but it kan all work out in the end!) how annoying it is to learn to read. It's easy for those of us who have been doing it for a while, but every time I tell my daughter a rule that is usually true, the next page will have a different one. Don't get me started on "gh". It'll sound like Eddie Izzard or a sketch from I Love Lusy. plough, kough, through. It's like the whole I before E exsept after "c" fiasko, exsept in neighbour, weird, and about 30 others.
Have a nice day and boykott the letter "c" with me, won't you?
