snoweeThanks for the comments about skipping to the end. I actually think I've unintentionally uncovered another of those "telling" things... like people who hate clowns usually want to know what they're getting before Christmas and hate surprises.
Seems to have been pretty helpful in my conclusion. See, I never skip ahead so it occurred to me that if I knew what people looked for when they skip, maybe it would help me write a better ending. I don't think my endings are ever strong enough, but then I hate a long drawn out ending so maybe that's why...
