random, boring movie/tv stuff

snoweeDuring my recent bout of "too much tv" I got a chance to tivo some movies I've wanted to see. I usually don't chat about movies, but hey - the little one is at church and I can actually take time to write something completely pointless!
Gaslight: I have wanted to see this for so long I can't even remember how long it's been. Excellent movie. Ingrid Bergman can be a fantastic actress and there is just something about her in suspense which I love. Notorious has always been in my top ten favourite Hitchcocks and watching Gaslight I remember why.
Dear Frankie: newer film. Saw an ad on IFC at least a year ago. It was pretty good, but I'm not sure I liked the ending exactly as is.
I've recorded Wild Strawberries. It's another I've wanted to see for a long time, but I haven't watched it yet.
I still need to watch this week's Doctor Who and Battlestar Galactica.
I know it's COMPLETELY innapropriate, but V- keeps bursting in on me while I'm trying to watch Dr. Who and.. well... that was last season. This season I have given up and am letting her watch it with me because before it even started there was a commercial and she got SO excited. Since then she has informed me a number of times that it's her favourite show. The kid is afraid of the motion activated halloween props at the grocery store, but she cannot get enough of Dr. Who!? yeah, I know I shouldn't let her watch it, but...
