Okay, we've had lots of problems continuing with neighbours, just for the record. A couple weeks ago, hubby overheard K say he is moving to California. K and cheating g/f are not seen talking to each other at the moment. A day or so after that they had about 30 people outside trying to talk over each other at 2 am. (What's funny is they keep saying they only have parties about once a month, but they have friends over talking loudly 2-3 times a week. They're often drunk, smoking pot, and talking about the more serious drugs going on inside. Isn't that a "party"? I guess I missed the definition of party in elementary school.) Anyway, that particular night, hubby went over and said enough. Told them next time he'll call the police without warning them. Since then, they've managed to keep it down. hmm.

Anyway, today I pull up in the driveway. A car is parked in our half of it. Fine, except they are, well, it's hard to explain. It is a two car per side driveway (four across total) and the person is parked all the way to the left, near my lawn, but just far enough to the center that when I pulled in on the right side of my driveway, I was inches from their shiny BMW. I see them all standing out there so I wait a second and they just look at me so I start opening my door. I'm being slow, though I'm tempted to just swing it right into the new, black BMW (seeing as how my car is white, a little paint would be very noticeable). Now someone finally jumps over, looking between my door and the car, and telling me they'll move it.

Now, it's Sunday so there's no parking at the church right there and they have several other visitors so I say "look, S won't be home until this evening so if you want to use our driveway it's okay, but could you at least move it over to one side?" He starts to jump in as this lady comes up with one of those stupid grins saying "It's my car. I'm sorry. I'm from California. I didn't know this wasn't just one house and that you had half of it." I can imagine my look was one of dismay because I've been to CA and I know for a fact that they have twin homes! Just because I think this is soooo stupid, I have drawn this little sketch of how our property looks from the street. How can you NOT know there are halves!?!?!?! (I live on the left half)

Not to mention each has different landscaping, numbers, lighting design...
I suppose the point I should have made was SHE may not have known, but the people standing around in the driveway, some of whom live there, others visit A LOT, knew

The following cut is just a few other pics.
Victoria picked this fabric at the store and I thought it was so cute, I bought her a french kitty toy to go with it:

It's not very good, but it's the best one of my hair so far:

Anyone interested in seeing my bedroom? I've added a few things now, but this was when we first moved in:

Of note, I made both that black cowboy blanket at the end of the bed and the plaid one spread over it.
