So last week, dearest sweetest precious lovely jodie told me that Franz tickets were about to go on presale. YAY! But who to go with? Hm. K only knows a couple songs, I think. Hmm. I did give bro-in-law a copy of the CD. Think he liked them enough?

I send an email to him because he's very busy these days. Next day he stops by. First thing he says is "I would LOVE to go wot FF, but I don't know anyone I can go with!" I realize then I forgot to add in the email that I needed a companion. So we decide to go together.

Problem is, I have no money. He has no money.

I get up early this morning to buy tickets, but it declines my card. I call the bank because surely $800 is enough to buy a couple tickets (Well, I'm certainly not going to pay the bills & rent until I've got my tickets, right? lol) They say all is okay. I explore the site and it says online sales are over. I call the phone number and they say they stopped selling at 4. 4 when? 'cause according to my clock, it would only be after 4 across the ocean... it's at least an hour until 4 in the eastern time zone, but it's an 800 # so presumably it's to someplace in the US. Whatever. They say look for general sales at ticketmaster.

Hubby is hurrying me out of house so I don't get to look at ticketmaster until later. I do. They say no Franz listed for Utah at all. I check smith tix. No Franz. I tell both to send me an email when there's news.

I get a call from bro-in-law. he says he saw FF listed on Smith Tix a couple days ago. I say I didn't see it today. I hang up and scour smith tix again, then ticketmaster because they are both closed so I can't call now. No sign. None.

What if no one ordered the pre-sale so they cancelled the show!?!!?! I'm fucking panicked!!! They can't do that to me! I didn't have money! {sobbing}

The next nearest shows are Vegas and Denver. Both are long drives with high gas prices. Hmm. But if we split the costs.... but I don't want to jump the gun. but if I don't jump now, what if those shows get sold out? but if I do and then he comes here, I'd rather go because they're supposed to play salt air and I have never been to salt air for a concert and I've always wanted to. but what if...
