Makin' Mischief
Actually, not much mischief at all.
I've been writing and reading a lot. Toria has nearly weaned herself off naps so that leaves me little time anyway.
On the 17th, I went to court with sis-in-law. I was there purely moral support (but I took notes in case it becomes useful in a future fic {grin}) as she was fighing her ex-husband. He intimidates the hell out of her (he looks like a wuss, but then again I know what he did that she can now say she's intimidated) It went okay, but she's going to have to go back to argue some points of the original divorce decree, which I think sucks.
Good news is he didn't bring up half the stuff he threatened to (which were denials of things she had proof of so... like it would have done any good anyway. {sigh} Okay, point being, it went okay.
Then Saturday she took me to this business conference thing for something she and I are doing together. Well, really it's hers, but I'm trying to help and think it's a superb idea (which I won't share because it's also a semi-untapped market so, you know, we won't give it away.)
Uhm, then the weekend, lessee... I guess it's hard to say what I did because I did a lot for others, you know? Like I made phone calls for my sister to get info for her wedding, helped sis-in-law (who from this point on is just Jen 'cause I'm sick of typing it out...) with her business stuff, I wrote which was for me and then the kid takes up a lot of time.
Oh, kid! Yeah, her room was getting too hot at night so we bought a ceiling fan - with rainbow blades; each a different colour. It's sooo cute.
A funny thing (to me). Neighbours have a cat named... I forget, but they only call him kitty so really his name is Kitty. Anyway, Kitty is standing outside the window crying right now - which he does whenever he wants my boys to go out an play. It's funny. You'd think different yards, different families that they would be fighting and playing the territory game, but they don't. They play like siblings. Too cute.
Little one just woke up for the day. Must go. No, I don't have my computer back yet. I do have this handy laptop, but I got it for writing while away so it's sort of minimalistic on programs and I avoid using it for 'net too much. {shrug} Still waiting on mine. I'm suffering from withdrawal which is just... pitiful. HA HA HA
Can't believe I'm up. Been up 3 hours now...
