Camping turned out to be a lot of fun. We met a couple guys with gorgeous dogs and I had a little chat with them. Turns out they live in the valley too - just east of us.
Got a jury summons for next week. {biting nails}
Am also going to start selling Avon. I still need flexibility to be here for Victoria, but we also need just a little more money to help ends meet. Frustrations. Gas prices have not been dropping in Utah like the rest of the country so that now the only ones who pay more are Alaska and Hawaii. Yea, that makes sense? And when the asked a representative about it on the news she said it has to do with transportation costs that are too hard for the average person to understand. OMG, there are so many things wrong with that! A) Much of the gas comes here to Utah to be refined and then is transported to the other states so transportation, in theory, doesn't differ until it leaves here and at that point we are the closest! B) That is not an answer. Saying it "relates to transportation" is not an answer! C) Yeah, tell us we're stupid. I bet that will really help keep us from getting riled up...moving on
Scott started another term. He's just a couple from being done now. He's changed his plans so that he'll have a bachelor's in business (the original plan) but now with a minor in psychology. He's decided now to get a PhD in organizational psychology. I just smile and nod and pray that he gets a better job when he gets his bachelor's so that we can actually pay for graduate school...
Yesterday we went school clothes shopping and then just goofed off all day at Scott's parent's house. It was actually pleasant. Only one person who usually bothers me was there, but he was surprisingly kind and pleasant the entire day as well. Of course, that might be because at one point he went to work on geneology which is his favourite hobby. Besides, there aren't many weekends where we can just relax instead of spend it running around doing all the things I need with hubby. We don't see him to speak of from Saturday night until Friday morning - except for the Tuesday dinner which I've started so that he and Toria can see each other for a picnic between school and work. That's the only day he has more than 15 minutes between the two.
Anyway, school starts for the kid a week from tomorrow. 2nd grade. Can you believe it!? second grade.
