Writing is a lonely job. Too often we sit here talking to ourselves.

Just a reflection.

Anyway, so I am writing this piece of fluffy short fiction in hopes of boosting the so-far lacking credentials portion of my query letters. The story is a light romance revolving around routine. I'm about to title it, trying to think of something clever.

Just then, the following words pop into my mind as a possible title. "The silent killer"

Then of course I hear Benton say "I thought that was high blood pressure."

RayK "Naw, they changed that."

B: "When?"

R: "You were on vacation."

Then I laughed.
At myself.
Aloud.
With a small snort.
