Jun. 16th, 2007 05:13 pmSo, Thursday I got a lead on a private swimming instructor... the woman who taught me (I think I liked her...can't remember) is still teaching. Well, I called her, she called back and said she does the lessons in two week increments, but it goes all summer and she has openings so there you are then! My wish fulfilled.
Yesterday a friend came into town for a dance show. It happened to be at 2, same time as Victoria's karate, but only about 3 blocks away (a huge coincidence considering I drive past a dozen karate studios and 10 or so miles to take her to this specific one...) She is my sister's friend as well so what actually happened is I drove out, dropped K- off, took Toria over to karate, ran back, saw the performance, left a little early to get Toria, then returned to get K-... then we all went to a restaurant to chat.
We ordered, chatted, and about ten minutes later, the power went out. Well, they are completely gas so they could finish our food, but it took more time because they had to turn it all down because the exhaust is electric... So... we ended up staying there the rest of the afternoon waiting for food, talking, etc... Kind of crazy, though.
