Whee! The roller coaster ride continues!

{sigh} Our other vehicle, the one that has not been in the shop before, broke down on the freeway today. Sounds like it might not be too serious, but we had to have it towed and will be without the reliable one for a couple days. Plus we were stranded, but fortunately somewhat near my sister's work so we asked her to get us so we could wait for our ride in a nice cool office. Got back JUST in time to get the kid from school. Bah.

And they're predicting winds for today and tonight as high as the ones that surrounded a tornado taking out a mile of downtown streets 12 years ago. I went out and moved everything out of the backyard that could possibly take flight just in case. Might have a fun story when I return. More likely not...
