So Monday we missed "What Barney Says" (aka, How I Met Your Mother) as well as The Class and Heroes because of continuing converage of the Trolley Square Tragedy coverage. Now, the NBC affiliate is re-airing Heroes. What annoys me is that the CBS affiliate has a sister channel owned by our not-so-favourite local mogul and self-proclaimed moralist Larry H. Miller (aka The Guy Who Pulled Brokeback though we locals know him for a LOT more BS than that). He runs KJZZ to air JAZZ Basketball games and the rest of the time it's reruns and syndicated programming - with a couple "channel 2 (CBS affiliate) news" programs thrown in. Most of the night they ran the coverage simultaneously on both channels. Now it appears they reairing CSI: Miami on Saturday which was NOT interrupted by coverage and not airing the sitcoms which were not aired at all! That night, of course, I wasn't really upset about missing my programs, but now I'm wondering why they couldn't have kept them on and referred us to KJZZ during commercials or why they can't reair the programs we missed instead of the one that was on after all the coverage had ended...
I cannot get downloads of these programs to work, probably because I'm stuck with dialup. So, what I'm really wondering is if any of you happen to watch What Barney Says or The Class... all I want to know is if we missed something that might be important in the next episode. We can catch the rerun, of course, but if there was some major outcome, hubby and I would really like to know. Thanks.
