Good week...

It's been a pretty good week. I mean, Thursday I was a bit stressed from a number of things, but now I've had enough sleep and all's well.

I've gotten a little flack about blowing off family at Christmas for Vegas, but I haven't cared a bit. It was great. Notice this year there was no absolute fucking breakdown? Yeah, I noticed that too.

I got Dresden Dolls for Christmas from hubby. He thought I'd like them. Well, they have a cabaret sound on about 1/2 their songs and those songs I rather love, but the other half are... nothing special, imo. I also got The Ditty Bops. I LOVE THEM! I think I will get their second album too. They've got a very unique sound. Well, not unique, but a throwback to eras past. You should see their video for Wishful Thinking!

I also got a new Ani DiFranco. Most artists I lose interest after a few, but I am still soaking her up. I also got Erasure Innocents. I forgot how much I loved this CD. Most Erasure I can't listen to anymore, but I still love this album. Hmm.

And my CD-burner is broken. I can't even think about replacing it until after San Francisco...or later since I'm borrowing from bills to pay for that trip so I'll have to play catch up. Dangerous game we're playing with money right now. {cough}
