Actually, Champagne Wednesday was pre-empted this week. I thought instead I'd take this opportunity to explain Champagne Wednesday.

luvschampagne came up with the idea of getting drunk mid-week - a brilliant idea. She and larue916 started the idea with food to keep anyone from getting ill and a movie. I joined later and though I've been designated the weekly driver so I can't get drunk, I have had a great time.

I highly recommend starting this practice if you:
-need some girl chat time
-like to eat with friends
-like to watch movies which some people think border on lame, but are actually quite misunderstood
-need to get drunk just to make it through the week. Kahlua on mondays, amaretto on tuesdays, champagne on wednesdays, & vodka on thursdays are much more socially acceptable if you capitalize them and tell everyone it's a new program on T.V.
-like to be occasionally silly and/or stupid with people who love you anyway
