Hubby sick this morning. I feel okay right now, but what sucks when you're married or living with people is that if they get sick and you don't know if it could be flu or food poisoning (either and you're at risk since you eat the same foods) it sort of feels like a clock is ticking. Oh the dread!
Spam is out of control. Had to wait for 57 to download this morning. For whatever reason, Norton AntiSpam isn't managing to catch them anymore either!!!
On the radio yesterday morning, they were talking about scones, then clotted cream, then they told the intern to go over to London Market across the street and pick up those things.
Funny #1:
What do you mean they're closed? It's the London Market. It's well after noon in London!
Then they found some "knowledgeable" staffperson to talk about British food. {raising one eyebrow} Anyway, they were trying to explain the difference between an english muffin and a crumpet. (Well, I said duh and hubby asked me if I knew. Sometimes I forget not everyone was raised in my house.)
Funny #2:
A strumpet is just a crumpet with more experience.
It's possible you had to be warmed up to think that was funny, but hubby and I laughed very hard about it.
