Oh what fun it is to...

Been painting and taping, taping and painting... getting bored with it, but I do only have a little left to do.

I have tons of ideas, but can't afford much. Isn't that always the way? I found a company with really cheap curtains, though, so I might be able to do that part (actually, cheaper even than buying fabric to make myself! score!)

So, Friday I slipped and fell on the ice in driveway. Why didn't I have the foresight to take the snowshovel over there? damn me. Pain is in my hips when I thought surely it would be lower back and also my arm. This added pain has made painting really fun! I'm so pissed at myself!

Oh, and then Toria was supposed to earn her orange belt on Friday, but somehow we got mixed up and thought it was Saturday so by the time our mistake was brought to our attention, it was too late! GAHR! I mean, at least they are being understanding and said they would test her privately next week, but that is so irresponsible of me!

And in other fun news, I told hubby I wanted him to do the stuff high up because I didn't like climbing the ladder. Odd, really, because I climb them out of doors just fine, but whenever I have to do it inside I get a little shaky. Well, yesterday I got working and I really didn't want to have to wait for him to get home to get going on the next step so I did it myself and I realized what it is. I'm claustrophobic (this I knew) and climbing the ladder puts the ceiling too close - when I was painting a corner like that yesterday I had a panic attack... I thought I was having some minor fear of heights thing... While trying desperately to come down from the attack, I realized it was the claustrophobia thing...

But hey, it gave the paint time to dry before the second coat! Look at me find the positive in everything...
