Jun. 12th, 2005 06:06 pmI don't really update enough do I? Probably because there's nothing noteworthy.
Although, I'm feeling much more relaxed now that my mother is back in town and I'm no longer strapped to her duties. Whew! Those on top of Toria's karate, a class I'm taking, her art class, etc, etc... it was one thing straight into the next.
Went to the zoo yesterday. Very cool! First time with my new camera and it worked out great. The peacocks were all about strutting - every time I go they've got their tail feathers down - so I got pictures. The red pandas were sleeping, not facing the crowds so I will just have to look at the pics I got last year. Toria loved the penguins (those are my favourite birds in the whole world! she said) and the giraffes. I still love the bats. The new elephant habitat is great. Gives them much more room and much more to do. They actually look happier if an elephant can look happy.
Story is still coming along. I can't really figure out what's going to come next or where to end it. Needs closure. Ah well. Struggles of an artist, eh?
