Interesting.

So, I've been working on this horrible story. It's definitely porn. It's probably pulp - although I've never completely understood what that means so if someone wants to explain that to me plainly, I'd be interested.

Anyway, I read something today that sort of made me stop in my tracks. Someone wrote something very similar. I mean, not a duplicate by any means, it's just that they have used some details in a way that made me go a little wacky... because it's a very odd coincidence and it's not the first time that this person and I have thought alike.

I guess a little part of me wants to go on record as saying that when/if I ever put this fic out there, I didn't swipe from anyone - though themoo37 did help me greatly with naming some of the characters {wink}, but she knew that's what she was doing when we chatted.

The other part of me wonders - am I not very clever? The person I'm talking about is someone I look up to as being very clever, so maybe I'm just beginning to think like her, but that's not very clever so that sucks, really. {Sigh} I so often wish I was "the clever one" or "the unique one"...

So, I was thinking last night about BSG for no particular reason. I think I like it. this is mainly because I don't like bad boys nearly as much as nerds who go crazy and HELLO! Baltar... yeah.

And, interestingly, I've had crushes on both Starbucks now... My sister loved Apollo originally, but I remember thinking Starbuck was cool. Okay, that wasn't a crush, he was just cool - like Han Solo. Anyway, the one thing I can't resist saying about the current starbuck is that she's got a really hot body and one of those crooked teeth. Why does that turn me on?
