Observation

They've made Barbie a "more realistic body type", supposedly to help girls' self-esteem. {blink} I don't get it either, but aside from the well-publicized smaller breasts, she also has a larger waist and bigger hips.

The bag of Barbie clothes (which is an accumulation of things I had, things my sister had, and things that just got left at my mother's house) contain clothes that only fit the 1 Barbie I kept from my childhood. I mean, all the punk rocker clothes and stuff my Barbie's wore are back in style, but now they don't fit the new Barbies!

What a rip off.

Still wondering where my Princess Leia "Barbie" went... I did find the white dress.

Hubby decided to surprise me by coming home for lunch. Well, no food ready so he suggeste we get fast food. We get to McDoncald's and order the little one's happy meal. "Is it a boy or a girl?" "Girl," he responds...
and up on the screen I see:
1 chsgbrgr happy meal
1 boy toy

Wow. I didn't know it was so easy to order those.
