Death

Kami's ramble made me feel the urge to share. She brought up Grandma's death. The woman was 94? Or something and had been senile for the last few. {shrug} By that point, Grandpa was gone and she was in a care center - she was better off.

However, here's my universe. Grandma died the day before Kami confirmed she was pregnant. Our good friend died something like 15 days before Toria was born. I'm not sure why those things seemed so significant, but they were. I was on my way down to SL for attorney paperwork and to deal with the biological father when I found out I would also be attending Mike's funeral on the same trip. Very odd.

Interesting side note, to me: I know nothing has to do with anything, but even when Toria is in her most shy stages, she still jumps into the arms of Mike's widow, Gayle. She hadn't seen Gayle since she was about 8 months, but Gayle came over when she was 18 months, Toria RAN to the door and jumped into her arms.

I hope crying over your cousin isn't unusual, Kami, 'cause Scott and I had another little cry over Mike 2 days ago...
