Update:
Friday night I went to my niece's birthday party. I think she was a bit bummed, but I, for one, had a great time. Maybe because I forced everyone to listen to humourous chat excerpts and then we watched some good bits of Velvet Goldmine while downing alcohol and pizza.

Maybe it's just me.

Saturday I tried to help my sister in law hem her dress, but ended up screwing it up so that my sister had to help. Figures. And I call myself an amateur seamstress? Sure. I'm not even that.

But no worries. That evening we went to see a friend (technically my niece's best friend) perform. It was a fabulous show and his was the best performance of the evening. No offense to the other queens. He was just better, so there! It was tons of fun, anyway.

I am pretty addicted, but there is hope. I think I'm just well connected to the internet and technology, but it's really a start of a drug-like addiction. I must act now! Unplug this computer!
