Breathlessly, she huffed and shook uncontrollably. Her right hand twitched so hard, the object in its grip shook loose and hit the floor with a clang. She jumped at her own clumsiness and the sound it had caused, but finally it brought her out of the vicious trance which held her. Staring down, she still struggled to catch her breath even as she watched the beautiful deep red seep under the counter. Tracing the trail back, the deep gashes to the neck and upper torso were now indistinguishable, now all covered in blood.

That was just in my head. It's out now.
