snoweeSo many things, and I feel nothing about them, but this is how it goes.
1) Hubby planned to beg, borrow, and steal to take me out tonight. We arranged a babysitter and everything. Turns out he got a little bonus from work after all. It's piddly, really, but I'm glad he can take me out and he doesn't have to borrow a 20 from his 'rents (which is what I feared he had planned)
2) I'm sick today. Started last night around midnight so I slept shitty as hell and had to send hubby to store before work this morning. Fortunately, the pepto is making me feel better, but my stomach's still flipping knots. Now we're hoping I feel well enough to do something tonight. :-\
3) My webpage finally propagated. Check it out, if you'd like. It's mostly the same only with a new address that is paid for and such so I will never have to move, fuss with pop-ups, or adjust for banners EVER AGAIN. http://www.snowees.net. Please update your bookmarks.
4) This is rather important to... at least Mali. I haven't a clue who else. That page of Velvet Goldmine screen caps is moving too. anycities sent me something about changes they are making and with the newfound webspace, it'll be MUCH easier for me to maintain (add, btw, ADD!) if I keep it all together. Don't know how long I'll leave Anycities there, but I highly recommend changing the links to http://www.snowees.net/links/velvet. Also, if you're reading this and involved in VG groups, please pass on the link. I'd like to know someone is enjoying it.
5) Yesterday, some dumbass dumptruck driver ran into a power line in the Sandy area. It caused this lovely chain reaction of blowing lines down the row until the power was out in much of Northern Utah and into Wyoming. (Rumor unconfirmed is that it hit Idaho too.) LOL, ok this amuses me. So, we were without power for two hours. Some places were down a few minutes (that isn't referring only to place with backup generators) and other areas were down until the middle of last night. Kami came by to watch TV since she was in no mood to spend last night sitting at home. alone. in the dark. Can't asy as I'd blame her. Worked for us too since, when she called, I was preparing to go buy beans for our dinner. Instead I told Kami she could eat with us if she brought beans. {grin}
6) It's BUT FUCKING cold in this house. I swear I know how to start a fire, but seriously, this will not STAY LIT. Because of jumpy tummy, I'm in no mood to argue with it. Since I'm using valuable time of kid sleeping on the 'net, I'm going to sign off and take a nap under two warm comforters. {grumble}
7) One last thing, yes my page is up but since I'm gonna update this and nap today, I'm not going to check all the links which I'm sure are screwed up and I'm not gonna answer email. So there.
8) That doesn't mean I don't love you...
