See my house, my newish vehicle, and a couple other things:

First, begin with our house. I don't have ALL my images with me, but this is the main floor. You enter and on the right is a staircase up. You walk to the back half of the home and along the left wall are stairs to basement. In front is the great room and to the right (past the staircase) is a hall which takes you to kitchen.
At the other end of the great room is a passway into the kitchen and through that pass you can see the door which takes you to the backyard.
The curio in the corner of this pic is inherited from my grandparents.

Looking back toward the front area of the house...the white bit of wall is the hallway leading into the kitchen from that direction:

Another corner of the great room. The shelves were inherited from Grandma. The top statue was painted by my sister. The lower canteen thing I painted myself.

Now, onto the kitchen. The dining portion of the room (behind me is the door to the backyard)

That door is to the backyard. I have so much workspace in the kitchen. I love that!

Now downstairs into my messy office. It's still a mess, but the couch is cleaned off. That was my cool sectional remnant find. It was the only piece left of a set so they sold it to us for VERY cheap. Note the odd shape. Very comfy. In one corner you can sit and in the other, lay down or curl up. I love the colour. Grey furniture is harder to find than you'd imagine.

This is our new vehicle. I know, I know. Trucks bad. I swore I'd never get one, but... it's hard to find one we fit in comfortably and the price was too good to pass up even with the cost of gas.

Misc:
So, months ago, hubby got me flowers and I made jokes about the size of the vase and the margarita glass shape of it. Well, here 'tis.

For the little one's b-day, I did a mermaid theme. Streamers from ceiling, water coloured balloons all over floor, fish, seashells... then the cake. It didn't turn out like in my head, but hey. I've never had a lesson!

And daughter does her impression of Dorothy of Kansas. he he. She got this new dress and asked if it looked like Dorothy's. I said "yes" so she proceeded to go find a white shirt and her mary janes, then asked me to braid her hair. Cute pic anyway.
